El delegado regional del Infonavit en Hidalgo, Canek Vázquez, dio a conocer que durante el foro de Vivienda Justa y Prosperidad Compartida, realizado en el Complejo Cultural Los Pinos, se detalló la propuesta de reforma presidencial en materia de vivienda, presentada en febrero pasado, la cual ha sido retomada por la virtual presidenta electa Claudia Sheinbaum.
“El director general, Carlos Martínez, expuso las razones por las que la reforma planteada por el presidente Andrés Manuel López Obrador para el sistema de vivienda pública favorecerá a los trabajadores, así como a la región denominada ‘AIFA’, en la cual está contemplado el estado de Hidalgo, que tendría el 28.91% de la inversión total destinada, la mayor de todo el país, y que representaría una producción aproximada de 144 mil viviendas en toda la región”, dijo.
Canek Vázquez también explicó que, dentro del plan contemplado para la construcción de 1 millón de viviendas, Hidalgo sería uno de los más beneficiados, ya que la mayor producción de vivienda nueva adicional se realizará en esta región a la que pertenece el estado.
“Se potenciaría el empleo en la región ‘AIFA’ por los próximos 6 años en un estimado de casi 2 millones de empleos; se atenderá la demanda de vivienda derivada del nearshoring, promoverá el acceso a la formalidad, brindará más opciones y flexibilidad para conformar un patrimonio, además de fomentar el desarrollo de proyectos regionales”, enfatizó.
La reforma tiene dos objetivos principales: el primero es que el Infonavit pueda financiar la construcción de vivienda de forma directa, y el segundo, que se establezca un esquema de renta en México que aún no existe. El Instituto, dirigido por Carlos Martínez, ha construido una visión diferente, dando seguridad a los tenedores de vivienda, además de brindar sistemas de crédito más flexibles y accesibles.
Durante el foro se aseguró que del millón de viviendas que se busca desarrollar en el próximo gobierno, no puede tratarse solo de un plan de construcción, sino de brindar a esos nuevos hogares escuelas, centros comunitarios, vías de comunicación, movilidad accesible y espacios con todos los servicios básicos.
“El director general fue muy claro al enfatizar que en los sexenios pasados se mantenían proyectos de construcción de vivienda en los que primero se construían las casas y después llegaban los principales servicios, lo cual era claramente un error”, explicó.
Para finalizar, Canek Vázquez dijo que la reforma es necesaria, ya que ampliaría la oferta de vivienda disponible, tanto para la adquisición como para la renta, ya que del 2015 al 2023 la construcción de vivienda económica popular presentó una caída del 77%, y entre el 2018 y el 2023 el precio de las viviendas aumentó un 59.5%, por lo que la participación del Infonavit puede reducir la presión al alza de los precios en mercados afectados por la especulación.
“El 81% de la ciudadanía aprueba una reforma al Infonavit para que los programas vayan hacia las personas, y esto no afectaría a las empresas desarrolladoras, ya que seguirán construyendo y además podrán participar en los proyectos encabezados por el Instituto”, concluyó.
