Con el propósito de mantener calles más ordenadas, limpias y seguras, la Dirección de Tránsito y Vialidad, adscrita a la Secretaría de Seguridad Pública, Tránsito y Vialidad de Pachuca, mantiene de forma permanente el Operativo Rastrillo, una estrategia enfocada en la atención de vehículos en aparente estado de abandono que permanecen en la vía pública.
Durante el primer semestre de 2026 se emitieron 1,002 notificaciones a propietarios de unidades detectadas en esta condición. Derivado de ello, 899 vehículos fueron retirados voluntariamente por sus propietarios dentro del plazo de 72 horas establecido, mientras que 100 unidades fueron aseguradas por la autoridad al incumplir con el requerimiento. Como resultado de estas acciones, además, tres vehículos con reporte de robo fueron recuperados.
El procedimiento inicia a partir de un reporte ciudadano o cuando, durante los recorridos de vigilancia, personal de Tránsito y Vialidad identifica un vehículo con características de abandono. En esos casos se coloca una notificación preventiva para que el propietario retire la unidad en un plazo de 72 horas. Si al concluir ese periodo no existe respuesta, el vehículo es asegurado conforme a la normatividad vigente.
Esta estrategia permite recuperar espacios en la vía pública, mejorar la imagen urbana, facilitar las labores de limpieza y contribuir a la disuasión de actos delictivos, al eliminar vehículos que pueden convertirse en puntos de riesgo o ser utilizados para actividades ilícitas.
Este operativo forma parte de la estrategia permanente del Gobierno de Pachuca, encabezado por Jorge Reyes, para fortalecer el orden en la vía pública y contribuir a una mejor movilidad y seguridad.
La Secretaría de Seguridad Pública, Tránsito y Vialidad invita a la ciudadanía a reportar vehículos aparentemente abandonados al 771 711 0707.
